Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Positions in Genetic Epidemiology

The Department of Epidemiology (http://epidemiology.phhp.ufl.edu/) and the Center for Genetic Epidemiology and Bioinformatics (GeneBio) at the University of Florida seeks qualified applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month tenure or non-tenure track faculty members at the ranks of assistant, associate, and full professor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing department that has expertise in cutting edge areas in genetic epidemiology, including statistical genetics, bioinformatics, high dimensional omics research, and identification of novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets for human aging and age-related diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, mental illness, Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. The successful applicant will work in a vibrant academic environment with rich high-dimensional omics datasets (e.g., WGS, WES, EWAS, RNA-seq, lipidomics, metabolomics, proteomics and microbiome) collected in large-scale epidemiological cohorts. The successful candidate will also participate in the departmental teaching and mentoring activities. The Department of Epidemiology has a strong commitment to professional development and mentoring for its junior faculty members.
