The Center for Genetic Epidemiology and Bioinformatics (GeneBio) at the University of Florida takes a privilege to serve the scientific community. The center faculty, research staff, postdoctoral fellows and students perform cutting edge scientific research in genetic epidemiology, bioinformatics and precision health.
The goal of our research is to understand the molecular mechanisms and identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets for human aging and age-related diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, mental illness, Alzheimer’s disease, and related disorders.
